Warranty Policy

Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Definition of Terms

Product – Refers to any hardware manufactured for or by TITANIUM PC bearing the "TITANIUM PC" trademark, trade name, or logo that is purchased directly from TITANIUM PC.

Original Purchaser - any consumer that purchases and has possession of a Product directly from TITANIUM PC.

End User - the ultimate consumer of the Product and constitutes anyone who owns and uses an TITANIUM PC Product.

Date of Original Retail Purchase - the date the Original Purchaser bought the Product from TITANIUM PC.

Scope of Warranty

TITANIUM PC WARRANTS this TITANIUM PC hardware Product against defects in merchandise and workmanship for a period of TWO (2) YEARS from the Date of Original Retail Purchase, unless additional parts or labour warranties are purchased, which may extend the terms of the warranty to include the replacement of parts for a total of up to 2 years.

TITANIUM PC warrants the original purchaser that any part of the hardware system, excluding software, documentation and similar terms will be free of defects of both workmanship and materials for the warranty period included with the purchase.

Coverage

TITANIUM PC warrants the original purchaser that any part of the Product, excluding software, documentation and other peripherals, will be free of defects of both workmanship and materials for the warranty period included with the purchase. The date of warranty coverage starts from the date of original retail purchase.

During the product's warranty period, TITANIUM PC will repair or replace defective hardware for defects specified and found in the Product. This will be done without any labour charge (free of charge) and the replacement of parts will also be provided without any further charge during the warranty period. Parts may not be the same but will be equivalent or slightly better.

TITANIUM PC shall, under no circumstances, be liable to provide warranty service for products that have been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse or misapplication, for example, unauthorised overclocking or undervolting. This also applies if the TITANIUM PC service tag has been removed or defaced or if the product has been modified without written agreement from TITANIUM PC. Any issues caused by voltage manipulation will not be covered under the TITANIUM PC warranty. Issues arising from the product not being cleaned or maintained properly are not covered under the TITANIUM PC warranty, this includes cleaning of radiators and fans to allow adequate airflow.

Any replacement parts will be warranted to be free of defects of workmanship and material for 3 months from the time of replacement, or for the remainder of the warranty period of the TITANIUM PC Product it is replacing (whichever is longer). 

What is covered?

TITANIUM PC covers all hardware issues during your warranty period. Lifetime support. TITANIUM PC do not charge a labour fee for repair and servicing work during the warranty period. Outside of the warranty period, fees will only be for parts or specially requested services.

What is not covered?

Accidental damage such as water spills, drops or physical breakage due to an accident. Data loss or recovery due to drive damage or failure is not covered. Your HDD or SSD however is covered by our warranty and will be replaced during the warranty period in the event of failure.

Any 'mining' of electronic coins, including but not limited to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge Coin will result in the warranty being voided.

Any overclocking or modification by you or an external technician will result in the voiding of the warranty.

Procedure

If a defect is found in a purchased TITANIUM PC  Product, contact the TITANIUM PC  team by email (sales@titaniumpc.com.au) or at 1800 611 801.

If the TITANIUM PC team is contacted through phone or email, TITANIUM PC will provide guidance to diagnose or solve the problem.  Where possible we try to remotely fix the problem.

If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone / mail, the User will be responsible to either carry in the Product to our Service Centre or to mail it in. Alternatively, a collection service can be opted for, and relevant charges will apply.

The machine must be returned in its original packaging, including foam inside and around the PC as per how it was received originally by the customer. If the original packaging is not used, TITANIUM PC will not be liable for damage to the PC during transit back to our service center and any repairs for transit damage will be at the customer's expense.

For such warranty claims, the following details are required - Name, Address, Contact Number, Order Number and Warranty Serial Tag.

TITANIUM PC will, at its option and to the extent permitted by law:

(1) repair the Product (using new or refurbished replacement parts);

(2) replace the Product with a product that is new or which has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product; or

(3) issue a partial refund of the original purchase price of the Product, if for some reason, the Product cannot be repaired or replaced—provided you return it during the parts warranty period owned.

Diagnosis will typically be within 2-3 business days - we will let you know the expected time frame for any repairs or replacement parts.

Graphics cards, except those labelled “Mining Series”, are intended only for use with desktop PCs. Other types of use, such as block chain computing or cryptocurrency mining, will render the product warranty void.

TITANIUM PC Limited Warranty Obligations

Items such as BATTERIES, AC ADAPTERS AND EXTERNAL ACCESSORIES SHALL BE CLASSIFIED AS CONSUMABLE PARTS. THE WARRANTY PERIOD FOR BATTERIES AND AC ADAPTERS IS LIMITED TO ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE.

In the event that TITANIUM PC decides to refund (the value of) or replace the product, the term of this warranty shall expire as of the time of that refund or replacement.

No TITANIUM PC agent or employee is authorised to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforce-ability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TITANIUM PC  IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF ACTUAL MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; DOWNTIME; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, REPROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH TITANIUM PC  PRODUCTS, AND ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA STORED ON TITANIUM PC  PRODUCTS.

Warranties for International Customers; Disclaimer of Warranties:

The standard warranty stated above applies to Titanium PC branded products shipped to a country outside of Australia, provided that customers outside Australia are responsible for paying all freight charges incurred in shipping, importing/exporting and receiving replacement products and parts and for arranging and paying for the shipment of any defective part(s) back to Titanium PC . All international customers are responsible for all customs duties, GST and other associated taxes and charges. The warranty disclaimer above also applies to international customers.

Manufacturer’s Warranty:

Titanium PC is not a manufacturer or authorized service centre.  It is highly recommended that a customer contacts the product’s manufacturer’s technical support directly for any troubleshooting or technical support advice before you return the product to us for a warranty claim.  Some of these manufacturer provided support services are free and will be able to provide you the expert technical support to resolve your issue.  This can assist with expediting the process with warranty claims with the manufacturer and Titanium PC.  Titanium PC cannot apply for a warranty claim on the customer’s behalf with a manufacturer due to the Privacy Act.

Transferability of Titanium PC Warranty

THIS WARRANTY COVERS THE PRODUCT AND ONLY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND IS NOT TRASNFERABLE.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Warranty cover will not apply to:

  1. Any product that has not been installed in accordance with the installation instruction supplied by the equipment manufacturer or damaged due to incorrect installation.
  2. Any product that is repaired or altered by anyone other than authorised Titanium PC service personnel where a product disassembled or repaired in such a manner that performance or functionality is affected.
  3. Any product that fails or is damaged as a result of improper storage, operation under abnormal conditions misuse, neglect, abuse, accident, act of God or maladjustment of consumer controls. Short circuiting the equipment will be considered misuse and will cause the product not to be covered by the warranty.
  4. Accessories and consumable goods such as keyboard, mouse and joystick if they are a result of heavy use, or shows sign of normal wear and tear.
  5. Any defect or damage caused by or resulting from the connection or attachment to the product that has not been approved by the manufacturer for connection or attachment to the product.
  6. Defects or damage due to spills of liquid or other substances (water damage, dust, cigarette), excessive temperature or humidity and environmental conditions.
  7. Aesthetic or surface damage or scratches to all plastic surfaces and other external parts damaged due to normal customer use.
  8. Any cost of hardware or software removal or reinstallation. Removal of parts from a system if it's not bought as a system will attract labour charge.
  9. Any product or part thereof which has suffered through alteration or defacement of the serial number or warranty seals as such where an unauthorised service personnel opening the product without permission from Titanium PC. 

Product Information Policies

Price Protection:

Titanium PC website is updated frequently to ensure that listings reflect correct pricing and the latest products.  At the time you make a purchase you agree to the listed price.  The listed price is subject to change.

We reserve the right to make corrections and changes to prices, products, and specifications without notice due to errors arising from misprints, technical, and human errors.

Product Images and other Images:

All product images on Titanium PC website may vary from the actual product.  All typographical errors are subject to correction.  Please note that these images are only to be used as a point of reference and do not reflect, in any way, the actual product.

Product Descriptions and Specifications:

At Titanium PC, we strive to ensure that every product description is accurate.  However specifications, features, documents, and graphics may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.  If an error is made or a product is listed at an incorrect price, we will correct the error as soon as possible.

Product Availability:

Product availability is subject to change at any time.  Stock showing as available at time of ordering may sell out and be on backorder.  We will fulfil your order as soon as possible and will notify you or update item status with an ETA when possible.

Cancellations and Returns Policy :

Upon receiving an order, we immediately begin processing the order. An order involves committing staffing resources, administrative work, hardware, logistics and other related procedures, all of which represent a cost to our business. Therefore once an order is placed and prior to its shipment, we cannot accept a cancellation and offer a full refund, be it for change of mind or any other reason, without cost.

We strongly recommend you consider this cancellation policy carefully before finalising your purchase, as it is not negotiable.

Titanium PC has a no change-of-mind refund return policy unless there is a major problem that is covered under our warranty policy. Titanium PC return guarantee entitles a customer to return any item in the final stage of warranty procedure, provided it is confirmed by our Technician.

We do not normally give refunds or exchanges if you already knew of a fault in a product or we specifically advised you of a fault in a product, damage a product after purchase due to alterations not performed by us, damage the product due to unusual or non-recommended use, damage the product by any means where the damage is outside of our control, or when no proof of purchase is provided.

Once our team has submitted a refund or credit note request generally it should not take longer than 2-4 business weeks maximum for funds to be returned. BANK TRANSFER is preferred so please provide your Bank name, BSB & Account number in order to process this request. The processing time takes into account generation of the credit note, submission to accounts department, returns and credit run days, and then finally the delay in return to your bank account through the financial system.

Even by request, we cannot initiate a return of funds for goods that have not arrived back to us, and have not been checked through returns/warranty, without exception.

All deposits on computers, whether layby or otherwise, are non-refundable. Refunds may be given at the discretion of Titanium PC. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded (if applicable).

We do not provide temporary components whilst waiting for a warranty repair, eg: if a CPU needs to be replaced, we need to wait for the supplier / manufacturer to provide a replacement before we can replace the CPU. Customer needs to be patient as warranty or repair take sometime.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item in the original packaging with foam pads until and unless advised by Titanium PC if they cover the shipping cost in certain scenarios. Titanium PC team will guide you on how to return the PC for repair under warranty claim.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you have purchased an item with a warranty stating 'Courier Pick Up' and you still have the original box and protective foam / padding, Titanium PC will pay to pick up the item and return it to us for a repair in the case of a warranty repair. We will also organise shipping back to your address. If you are missing the box, or the protective padding for your system, Titanium PC is not responsible for any transit damage or transport fees of the product, the customer is responsible for shipping the system to Titanium PC.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Titanium PC has a Return-to-base Warranty for all computers purchased, starting from the date of purchase, for the term stated on the order.  Our technicians may take up to 14-28 business days to complete any return-to-base warranty claims. Products made from other manufacturers will have their own warranty information regarding faults/repairs. Please check with the manufacturer for any warranty return information. We may advise that your warranty will need to be processed through the manufacturer as they will be better positioned to process their warranty claims for repair or replacement.

Titanium PC reserves the right to reject a return, refund, warranty claim, or consumer guarantee claim if:

  • Consumers cause fault of the item in a way considered to be abnormal.  Please check the manufacturer’s warranty to see if misuse has rendered the warranty to be void, or results from a use that you wouldn’t reasonable expect the product to perform
  • Consumers damage the product where the damage is caused by any factor out of Titanium PC control
  • Consumers damage the product by making alterations not performed by us
  • Consumers are unable to provide a proof of purchase (tax invoice)
  • Consumers are responsible for damaging the goods by not following care instructions or by exercising reasonable care of the item.
